Luan is so good I remember watching him win Tampa Am 2 years in a row back to back and in between runs while practicing you could tell he was on a pro level and way ahead of everyone else (which at the time was Ams like Ishod Wair, Evan Smith, Felipe Gustavo, so many who weren't pro yet and trying to make a name for themselves)

That fs flip at the beginning would've been a hammer trick like 20 years ago, but Luan is just on another level.

Luan is beast for real.

I honestly think his style and skill is better now, yet he never comes close to winning although of course, he's still placing final rounds consistently in the highest level competitions.

I just notice, in the last few years, Luan literally does 0 grinds. No ledges, no rails, no lips. He just does the biggest hammers down the biggest stuff.

Now I understand Luan is not known for his grinds. But in 2015, while although he didnt do anything over the top crazy, he still threw in some grinds.

Come on, its probably all the judges want to give Luan a winning score. Heavy hammers and just throw in a few small grinds. He could be number 1 again.
