im in japanese 101-102 right now (on winter break) and we have obviously been learning the formal conjugations, but its so interesting hearing the informal present tense being what we call the “dictionary form” in class! glad i have a way of learning some informal speaking outside of class. ありがとうございますできたせんせい！！

yo guys, i'm making very slow progress on japanese, basically just learning plain words. i make it fun by learing them from songs. slowly i just begin understanding japanese, and i actually guessed most of these except from ikunakatta without reading any book for learning japanese before.. it says i know 1k of top 10k words, ive learned like 15 songs so far (actually i know 70% of N5 words and i have more knowledge of N1 words than N2 or N3 for some reason..) just wanted to share it
