- The original back perfume box is different from the fake one.

- On the bottom of the original box we find the engraved serial number, and on the fake box the serial number is written.

There are different perfumes here, bottles for bottles are two different. Paco Rabanne-olympea comes in 5 different versions, 4 of which have a similar bottle like this or the bend and one version is in a bottle like this one. Before you record anything, you should check it well and don't mislead people !!!

Don’t be afraid if you got the “fake” bottle. They actually used to have the perfume in that type of bottle it’s just the older version. I know because I have one and I got it from Macy’s but the fake version in his hand is absolutely fake. The white lettering on the bottom of the bottle is a dead giveaway. It should have that same format but the etching should look like the “real” bottles bottom.

I just ordered this and I definitely got bamboozled. Mine matches the counterfeit one almost completely. The only differences are mine came with the same inner packaging as the original fragrance and the serial number is engraved on the bottom of the box like with the original. But everything else matches the counterfeit one. And if I’m completely honest the counterfeit one smells really good, not sure about how it compares to the original though because I returned it immediately. So upset. I should have known the price was too good to be true.

Idk if I smelled a fake tester or what, but the tester looked more like a 'fake' side and when I ordered it online (from a different place) I got the one on the right (that is apparently 'real' and it has a batch code too), but I didn't like scent at all, it's light and floral summer scent, not caramel salt type of scent that I fell in love with. What a disappointment.

I have an OG Olympea INTENSE perfume 50ml bottle I purchased about 7 years ago (writing this in 2025). It was purchased in store at Macys. It is authentic. The bottle shape is exactly like the fake one in this picture, but the gold on the sides and the bottom of the cap are dark ROSE GOLD, not yellow gold. The top of the cap looks like a piece of amber, not clear.

The "OLYMPEA" print on the front of the bottle is black.

The text on the bottom of the bottle is hard to read and in gold lettering, not white.

Don't be out there tossing REAL authentic fragrances because of a bottle/design update. Packaging and bottles may change over time. The "real" one in this video looks like a cheap fake to me, actually. Lol. Even the box, but if it's the current real version, I guess Paco Rabanne was cutting back on expenses.

This video is totally misleading...not to say there are no fake olympeas out there BUT you are comparing the old style bottle to the updated version bottle... totally irrelevant in trying to decipher if one’s old design bottle is real or fake !!
