Another benefit of the fierce competition this year is accessories are not being treated as an afterthought. Even budget sets are coming with decent cables that aren't complete trash. And iirc a few sets ship with tips that you can buy more of, making it an advertisement of sorts. I know at least Tangzu does.

You're being fair to TRN which continues to improve their game. I like their tuning as well as their prices, but where they also excel is the sturdiness of their build. I've had higher priced IEMS, Shure in particular, wherein the shells cracked and revealed the weakened glue used to bind them.

Being like the AS16 Pro, makes me even more curious to hear these!! I picked up the AS16s for like £30 a few weeks ago and I thought they were great!!

Waiting for my set to arrive. Finally decided to get it since I'm happy with the TA3. Coming from a KZ ZNA, TRN TA4 and Truthear Hola I hope this set will satisfy my search for a good budget All-Rounder that has good detail and stage.

More importantly it was on sale for about the equivalent of 50USD. That's why i got it 😊

TRN sold modular cables separately in the past, cheap and pretty decent. I used to buy these cables. T2 PRO, T3 PRO.

Looks like these earphones have relatively small shells and a nice shape. This is rare for dual DD (plus BAs) models. Interesting.
