My daughter did that to me when she was a toddler. If I didn’t pay attention after calling Mummy a few times she would call me by my first name. It always worked. As she got older it was, Mummy, Mum, Mother, then Carole!

I'm into college and I do this to my mom but instead of her first name I call her by her full name which she hates cuz she went change it to just be her first name.

I always call my mother ''mama'' or something. If i call her by her real name, it's as a joke. She finds it weird when i call her by her real name (instead of ''mama), so do i. She is very proud with being ''mama'':);)
