I live in South Korea and Suga’s incident was on the news for several minutes. Though it was a bad situation the fact that he admitted to it and took responsibility and did not try to justify it proves that he is a man of character. I respect that and I hope people wont hold this against him. We all make mistakes. Remember, you point your finger 👈🏼, there are three pointing back at you. 🙏🏼✝️💕

Suga acknowledges his wrongdoing for which he's deeply regretful like he said he has learnt his lesson and he won't let it happen again. Suga has accepted the punishment and that should now be the end of it, he doesn't deserve to be hounded into the ground. I do not want to minimise the incident because drunk driving is extremely dangerous but I also believe that mayor mistakes with big scares and no permanent consequences (like death) are the best way to learn lessons. I'd bet my right hand that after this Yoongi will NEVER EVER drink again while driving (might even stop drinking for a while). We are all lucky because nobody was hurt and no physical damage happened. He has owned the incident, he is paying the consequences and we can all move on and do better in the future.

I feel sure that SWEET Yoongi feels worse than anyone and is already punishing himself. BUT PLEASE Yoongi, accept the fact that you are human and make mistakes. AND anyone with a rational mind understands that, you don't need to cover up anything. There are millions of people who have had more than one legal drink and driven a motor vehicle, you must forgive yourself and remember you are one of MANY. Any hater that uses this against you is just WEAK and lying to themselves thinking they never f-ed up! PLEASE MIN YOONGI, do not let this simple mistake let you slide down a slippery slope! What is so odd to me as an international fan is how their in their culture there is a lot of drinking a lot - especially with work - and you know tons of others do something similar, but they seem to have no tolerance for idols making any kind of mistake no matter how small. No one and nothing was hurt…It’s so sad and I feel for them. But the kitten on a toy scooter was adorable! Jin deserves all he’s getting being in the spotlight solo for a while. Thanks for the update!

🚨It isn’t even a proper scooter that looks like this 🛵. In actuality, it’s a scooter that looks literally like this 🛴, but has a seat & is motorized! Something some pre-teens might even ride. 🛴 Suga wasn’t even aware that one wasn’t allowed to ride one when intoxicated, since laws aren’t specific, at least to his knowledge til now! Suga was even wearing a helmet! Reason why he rode it, was because he drank so close to his home, and furthermore was caught “assisted” while parking & getting off the scooter when he was already home! A policeman, saw him fall, came to assist and smelled alcohol on his breath, so he took breathalyzer and it turned out high! So Suga now has his driver’s license suspended, for I believe a year. At least now he, and I’m sure others in S. Korea will now know that the law even applies to scooters such as this 🛴 that are motorized. At least no one was hurt, plus since he was off duty, had a day off from the military, so it won’t reflect on his military service. 👍🙏🥹🥰☺️😉🛴😔

I live in nashville and people hop on those scooters drinking all the time. Maybe I'm desensitized, but he didn't get behind the wheel of a car. I applaud that. I, as an American think a lot of Korean laws are a bit extreme and they are looked at more than others. But he's human and accepted his punishment and apologized, so for me, it's done. Suga, you good in my book boo.

Can I just say a big FU to the people demanding Suga be put in jail or kicked out of BTS for this. Let the law handle this situation. He admitted his mistake, is accepting the consequences, and said he will strive to do better in the future. I swear some people won't be satisfied until they read he's hurt himself (if you know what I mean) because of this. I hope Yoongi knows there are fans all over the world loving and supporting him. And no that doesn't mean we condone drunk driving, both things can be true at the same time.
