Frieza is the emperor of Universe 7, who controlled his own imperial army and is feared for his ruthlessness and power. He is the descendant of Chilled, the second son of King Cold, the younger brother of Cooler, and the father of Kuriza. Frieza is the catalyst antagonist of the entire franchise, as it is his actions that led to Goku arriving on Earth. He has made several comebacks since his fight with Goku on Namek, including multiple invasions of Earth. Recently, he has been chosen to represent Universe 7 as the tenth member of Team Universe 7 for the Tournament of Power as a replacement for Good Buu. This makes him the most recurring villain of the Dragon Ball series. After the events of the Tournament of Power, he is revived and recovers his title as Emperor of Universe 7. Frieza is the main antagonist of the Namek, Frieza, Trunks, Gods of the Universe, and Golden Frieza Sagas. He is also the main antagonist of the Dragon Ball Z: Bardock - The Father of Goku special and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ film. He later serves as a villainous protagonist in the Universe Survival Saga and secondary antagonist in the DBS : Broly Saga.

I have massive respect for Freeza. He overcome his constant defeats to the Super Saiyan Monkeys and then he eventually is strong enough to fight with Goku in DB Super. Hail Golden Freeza.

The reason why I love Frieza as a villain because he is just fearless, he is smart too, he uses timing to destroy his opponents and sometimes being manipulative and that way he can outsmart his opponent to get the victory by cheating and lastly he is pretty much doesn't rely on others, he mainly relies on his own strength and believing on himself that he can takedown anybody.

Frieza went to Namek, because Nappa and Vegeta's scouters were on, during the Saiyan Saga.

To think that Frieza is the longest still evil villain in the series. It took Vegeta only one saga to be half-good, but with Frieza, after so many saga's he is still evil. That's some sustained determination.

When frieza gave energy to Goku in the battle royale he said all debts are paid, he meant the part where goku gave him energy on namek at the end of their fight
