I was there and the support for the USWNT was incredible! There was a lot of people with the US Flag and showing the team some support! (Including myself)

Mewis was caught out of position so many times but this will be a learning curve for her.

AMEN rockeythemonkey!!!! Crys and Mewis will be excellent players one day Crys but when you're playing the #2 team in the world one would think you'd want your best right and left backs on the pitch.

Knowing how competitive they are, I'm pretty sure they are annoyed with the tie. I talked with Abby after a Germany game from the Victory Tour and she was definitely annoyed with the tie. They hide it pretty well in interviews! And Germany is in a completely different place than we are with our training so... they should be a little happy at least.

it wasn't just the refs doing! seriously guys, it was a great game...there sure were some terrible calls on both sides but why can't anyone just appreciate the 6 goals we saw and the fighting from both teams until the very end? world #1 against world #2 and the game showed everything what you could expect from such a comination :) i love both teams and enjoyed the match and i think so should you guys! :)

Well the lesson from this put Ali Krieger in the right back and Kelley O' Hara in the left back!. I think it will be in the " drawing board " !

Should have been a 2 goal difference if officials weren't interfering. They should have given a yellow card with all that bashing Abby's head. Some young talent Tom had to evaluate under a tough team. Yes, would have liked to see some veterans play but that's how you develop your youth. Carli represented WNT today well in NYC. Don't let the player's manners fool you about officiating and tie- these competitors are steaming mad and hurt. They hide their faces well.

Not really bothered by this game because we intentionally didnt play our best team. when you leave arguably the best right and left backs in the world on the bench. Buehler doesn't play. You put a converted midfielder with less than 5 caps at left back and all in front of a goalie who rarely sees the field, then a tie isn't such a bad result. Happy the youngsters got minutes but Rampon looked suspect as well.

The reffing was terrible to be honest. It's actually the same ref who reffed the game vs Canada in the semi-final so the Canadians can stop saying that ref is for us...because it's obviously not that way.

Two goal lead with under 120 minutes, you should never allow a tie. Disappointed that several WNT members aren't particularly annoyed.
