Deadmau5, a Canadian record producer and DJ, signed up as an Uber partner to drive riders in his hometown of Toronto. The uberX riders were treated to a trip in his McLaren 650S.

Deadmau5 shared this surprise with his fans by tweeting: “in toronto? need a lift? I'm working for @uber tonight, downtown toronto. get lucky.”

That's pretty cool. I work at Uber in NYC. Best paying job I've ever had. Next month I'm going to get an Access Virus Ti2 then a Nord Lead 4R (A Synth I've always wanted). I'm getting those versions because I want desktop/rack synths since they don't take up so much space, yet they sound like monsters. I love working while listening to Digitally Imported when no one's in the car. I love this job and I also LOVE how Joel, Eric Prydz and others use Uber when they arrive @ the airports. I get to spend some time 1 on 1 with some of them when I'm lucky. :)
