A lot of teammates don't understand that Moira has to charge herself with damage in order to heal a lot. It is not uncommon for them to take away the damage Moira needs

10:12 Something that I have turned on for me are captions for important call outs. The captions call out a Sombra coming out of invisibility, allowing you to anticipate an EMP better and fade if the Sombra decloaks just before the EMP.

I’m a 300h Moira main. Here are some tips
when playing attack at hybrid or escort map, right before the door opens throw a healing orb onto the ground next to the door. It will do you good.

Don’t hesitate to throw healing orb, always prioritize the healing one.

If you can throw healing orb, then spray as less as possible.

Don’t fade into enemy. Only fade to escape.

DO NOT HAVE BOTH YOUR ABILITIES ON COOL DOWN WHEN YOU SUCK AN ENEMY.

Only throw healing orb when you suck an enemy unless you are sure they will die

my favourite thing about moira as a 200+h main is her mobility. and the benefits that come to her mobility. she can fade out of a grav, sigma ult, ash grenade fire, echo’s sticky bombs being stuck to you, tracers pulse bomb, orisas suck. the only thing she can’t really fade out of is a junkrat trap.

Probably my favorite part of Moira’s kit is her fade, I probably overuse it because I mainly use it to reposition more than escapability. I really hated her ultimate nerf really unnecessary nerf because she has no other utility for her team other than healing and damage, nerfing her ult was a nerf to her entirety of her utility.

4:43 This is a great point. If I’m fighting Genji or a low HP target, I never tap. If my tank’s in front of me fighting the opposing tank, I tap because I’m not going to secure a kill and tapping allows me to keep my team topped off.

by far the best thing ive learnt as moira is using fade to hide, alot of times when I need to escape but im too far in to the enemy i will use fade to hide behind an item or a corner in the map. Most people give up on looking for you because they dont see what direction you went, also they have to invest in time to look for you if they do and if theres alot of corners where you are then you can actually distract them for quite a while...

I love moira
I always play aggressive to get some early picks then fade away to heal teammates or I will fade away to a cover and send a healing orb to give some support after yoink some kills who are low in hp... and Moira is so good against movement players as you have to just trace around it, Great vid !!!

I actually had a teammate APOLOGIZE TO ME the other day when they yelled at me in a comp match bc I was always throwing damage orbs, only to see at the end I had 25k healing. 🙄
