My bet was on her booking the cheapest room she can find online even though it’s a different room type/rate than the ones she’s in and then demand she stay in the same room at the lower rate.

I remember one time my mom marked "early check in" with the reservation for the hotel and when we got to the hotel they said they couldnt do early checkin and the lady said it was a request not a garuntee and was prepared for arguing and my mom was just like "oh darn i swear i didnt see that. Could you just hold our luggage somewhere and we will walk around" and the girl looked so shocked that someone was ok with it and held our bags and we went to lunch.

I 100 percent think she will. She should of asked for a half rate day stay. Some hotels offer that if you check out before they can turn that room over before check in.

At my hotel sometimes they will tell the customer service person on the main reverstaiton line for the entire company. They dont tell us and then at time of checkout it's a scene
