Jurgen Klopp has responded to questions about Philippe Coutinho making a return to Liverpool.  Last year January, Coutinho completed an astonishing £142million move to Barcelona from Liverpool and although he started his career with the Catalans, this season has not panned out as he would have liked.  Ousmane Dembele’s return to the starting lineup has made it more difficult for Coutinho to come by a starting role and his frustration has caused reports in the media to link him with a move away from Barca – most significantly to Manchester United.  While there are yet to be any concrete reports claiming he will leave in the summer, it’s a story that won’t die down until the end of next summer or until Coutinho appears to be happy at Barcelona again.    When asked to comment on the Coutinho rumours, Klopp said: “That is something I don’t want to talk about. I would not say it is a potential transfer or a likely one.  “Nothing to say. Whatever I say would open more stories and there is no story.  “Phil is at Barcelona and as I know he fits really well and everything is fine.”  I would love to see Coutinho back at Liverpool as he is one of the most talented players I have seen in the Premier League but I doubt he is actually looking to move from Barcelona – his dream club. Whatever happens, Klopp usually knows what he’s doing with transfers.
