On the off chance it wasn't mentioned, the footage is from Spike Lee's film "School Daze." It has a great soundtrack and fun dance numbers. With a (present at that time, and future) star-studded cast. Several actors featured went on to star in the tv show "A Different World", "Martin", and the majority of the cast you'll recognize from a slew of box office movies and tv shows.

Ok, this is crazy...I dont remember bein an Extra in a Spike Lee movie, but at 1:52 to 1:55 that gurl in the denim jacket bouncin that flag with the shades on LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ME BACK THEN!!! I have stop and paused this dozens of times and am havin flash backs on how I too supported the games in the stands, wearing practically the same outfits back then, same haircut and all! We looked our age back then. I miss high school sometimes after 30yrs ago, wow!

I'll say this and I'll say it again... The 90s was a Raw time. Even tho violence was high. Seem like the blk community was trying tackle and address issues that we had threw music and movies. They had fun back then, REAL FUN. Showing the importance of community, family, and education. Shit had meaning back then. Damn... Lemme go back one time😅.
