Hi Mikael - cool mix of running video and speed testing! Very entertaining, my friend. Ooh, we have (unsurprisingly) similar results! You have inspired me to edit and upload my 16889 speed test, coming very soon! Happy Sunday, mate! :O)
PS - I was surprised (and very pleased) to see your interview with Chris Vallone! Really enjoyed watching that one, and thank you so much for the kind words!

The bigger truck looked like an excited puppy running through those leaves!! I hope my son likes it. He's got one for Christmas. 👍🏻

Hi. The video is very interesting, thanks. The only question, that remained for me: can you switch the 16 slower? You showed the speed switch at 50% position. Is that the slowest, or you can switch it even lower?

Sorry to comment on an old video, but could you speak to the grass capabilities of them? Is the 1:16 much better than the 18859 in grass? I’ve got the 18859a but thinking about the 16889a pro. Didn’t know if it is worth the extra $30 or so bucks. Thanks!!

I'm uncertain:

between the two which would you choose?

HBX 16889 RC Car @ or Xinlehong Q901 RC Car @?

Hiya Mikael. Great test video my friend. These look quick enough for a bit of fun. Is that van always in the car park or did you video this the same day as the Tamiya the other day. Anyway I enjoyed seeing you on Chris Vallone's channel. You came across very well. Cheers for the mention :-) You should invite him for an interview on Nordic Hobby Visions but say that he needs to speak Danish! Hope you are enjoying your Sunday. Crap weather here today but was ok yesterday so went RC'ing and just looking at the footage now. Laters :-)

Which one do you recommend? I’m having a hard time to decide 😥

I got the 16889 brushed version in today... I cannot believe how bad the shocks are. I'm not sure if I'm going to order the upgraded shocks I'm keeping or return it for the pro version. It seems some Pro A versions have oil shocks and others don't. At least with the pro you get brushless with all the other upgrades though. Plastic does average advantages though so maybe I'll just keep it and upgrade the shocks.

Can you please tell me where you got the tires on the green monster truck rc? Thanks!

Nordic I hear click sounds from my hbx16889 whenever I accelerate. But I did a full teardown didn't find any rocks or any substance. Can U help please?

Very cool Mikael. They both certainly got some big air. But as I've said before I prefer the faster 1/16 scale one. All the best and keep safe my friend.

Hi, this is an awesome vid, exactly what I was looking for. I'm torn between the two for my eight year old son (and me, snigger). The 16889 is certainly faster as you have proven, however from this vid the 18859 looks cooler and actually appears as if it handles a little better, hence more fun. If you had to choose between the two which would you go for? Cheers

I would expected that to be faster too.

Show the brushless 16889. It is a lot faster.
