Anthony Edwards needs to improve a lot to resemble Jordan or Kobe. In the playoffs, especially against Dallas, his lack of leadership and offensive resources under pressure are evident. He can soar and make the occasional fadeaway (which he needs to improve a lot), but he lacks the basketball IQ to recognize when he's drawing three defenders and has Gobert or Towns wide open under the basket for easy points. Luka did something similar in one of the last plays with that alley-oop near the rim.

He doesn't use his hang time effectively, doesn't manage to move laterally past his defender, and doesn't call for isolations with more responsibility as he should if he's really the team leader. In this series, he has shown he's still a kid. He has a bright future if he improves his IQ, continues to work on his shot, and becomes more of a leader, not just in trash talk.

In the first two games, he shot less than 30% with 16 attempts, and in the third game, he had 24 attempts for only 26 points. He has a lot to improve because he has the qualities to be one of the best, but all that potential is wasted if he can't be a true leader when the opposing team puts on the pressure.
