Yes these are the best maps thus far, but I would still recommend the first expansion first just because it has the extra ability cards which really help keep the game fresh and so you won't know which abilities will be in the game during the auction.

And it makes total sense that there are jumps and animals on a race track. Should propose it to the FIA, as there's no F1 this year, but perhaps next year they could build a track which passes through a zoo with wild animals and jumps over the lion cage, could be funny.

I was really looking forward to this expansion. I did some home-brew Mario Kart mods to Downforce and have been itching for more maps.

Is there any reason to keep the tracks from the base game? It sounds like they are just vastly inferior to the expansions.

I think I would like this even better if they gave you new cars for this expansion that were dune buggies or some kind of off roading vehicles anyway. I just don't see Indy cars jumping ramps or racing through a Savannah with animals. Just a thought.
