I am always thrilled to watch Misty make these easy to do projects! I love smaller projects to have in between quilts or when I am working on one that takes a lot of time! Thank you so much Misty!!

So the coaster made me think how cute it would be to put large wooden buttons on the flowers for the middles!! You may still need the fabric circle too, just to make sure the dresdens are covered.

It reminds me of a daisy necklace I had when I was younger.

That would make a cute table topper with one dresden flower facing one way and the other flower facing the other end, so that anyone sittting from either end would have a flower in their direction.

This is such a cute Springy wall hanging! Did you use regular batting inside? You are a very talented woman and always look forward to what you share with us next. Keep up the good work !

Could we sandwich and sew the quilting stitches before doing the applique? That way the straight-line stitching would so much easier to do. Love this project, too!

MISTY, did/can you make a sleeve on the back, for hanging, instead of piercing the wall hanging with push pins?
How wide would you cut the sleeve?
Do you turn under the left & tight ends, or stitch a hem on the wide open sleeve; then place the sleeve under the binding, with the raw edges under the binding and the folded edge toward the wall hanging edge?
DO you sew the top edge as you sew the binding, for best security?

I love the Dresden Daisy wall hanging. You are a good thorough teacher and I enjoy your creativeness. Would you mind sharing where you got that big 4" button? Would love to have that in my sewing room - looks much prettier than the bowl I draw around. Perhaps MSQ would be interested in selling a MSQ 4" button/coaster.
