A review of the Zeiss Ikon Nettar Folding Camera!

That's a vertical folding camera, so you would hold it with the carry handle up So all the words are readable. Primarily a portrait camera with the tripod mount as well for landscape photos. 2.5 meters is about 5 feet so it's good for big wide shots, like parks and city streets or skylines.

Nice review. I have this camera with a hexagonal front plate (rare model 1933 512/2 C). The are great cameras and working very well.

I too have this same exact camera =)

used old 620 Roll film paperbacked with numbers on same.. that's what the little red indicator was for on the back of the case...you could see same coming up when winding onto the next shot ... also you had to leave the bellows open when winding otherwise those canvas bellows would be compressed onto the neg and scratch the film...

View-finder, not "view screen." "Cable shutter release" is for long exposures.

I have the russian copy, Moskva-5 from 1958, it makes sharp and nice images but the viewfinder and parallax is baaaaddd!!

Don't know why, but all my photos on one of these were out of focus. Possibly it was me being an idiot. Anyway - guessing the focus is quite hard. Shutter also misfired on half the shots so I lost them :(
