What a great selection of books, definitely adding some to my list. My favorite read of the year so far has been Slow Dance by Rainbow Rowell and Real Americans by Rachel Khong. The book I'm most looking forward to is Jandy Nelson's new book, When The World Tips Over (I can't believe it's been 10 years since her last book)!

I also loved all of those YA vampire/paranormal series you mentioned as a preteen/teen and thought Bride was SO good! Recursion by Blake Crouch has been my favorite read so far this year. I'm most looking forward to Jodi Picoult's new release next month, By Any Other Name!

I recommend checking out Jaded by Ela Lee (it’s my favorite read of the year so far) A mixed race lawyer in london — 🥺 darkly funny and emotionally compelling.

My personal favorite book this year has been “My Dark Vanessa” by Kate Elizabeth Russell ❤ such a powerful and heartbreaking read! I truly believe that book spreads empathy in the most human and genuine way possible ❤

I wish you the best of luck with Magnolia Parks because that was the worst book I've ever read in my entire life 😂 it was so bad that it managed to surpass even November 9 😂😂😂
