What Apple and Samsung are doing is absolutely pathetic, especially when phones like One Plus 13 exist. For the reviewers that say their cameras are great but not "flagship level"... that's complete BS. One Plus 13 has the same overall quality as any flagship in daylight, and it's Zoom in night and day is an order of magnitude better than Samsung S24 Ultra, which is a bit better than iPhone 16 Pro Max. OP13 also has an order of magnitude better subject motion freezing with pets and animals compared to the S24 Ultra and presumably, S25 Ultra. And with much more impressive battery tech, those phones manage to be hundreds of dollars cheaper than the American/Korean flagships. I love One UI, but as a Samsung user I am getting frustrated. I have an S21 Ultra that doesn't need upgrading yet, but possibly next year. If Samsung doesn't significantly improve their camera issues (over-processing to the point of ruining images with zoom lenses, and massive shutter lag for pet photography) then I am definitely switching. But I also hope to see battery improvements to catch up to the Chinese, and finally a fresh design. The S25 Ultra is literally an uglier version of my S21 Ultra. All they did with S22/23/24/25 is take out the raised surface that the cameras slotted into, which actually looked very slick, especially on the 2-tone non-ultra variants. Apple, same goes for you! I bet your fans aren't holding out much longer either. It's like everyone looked at Intel and thought "Yah, I want to be the next Intel. Let's downgrade our products, charge more every year, completely stagnate, and let the competition absolutely annihilate us when we were previously absolutely untouchable."

A battery that doesn't get you through the day, identical 3x and 5x cameras instead of 10x, no secure face unlock but still a punch hole, downgraded pen, cut off display corners just to look like an iPhone. I guess I'll stick with my Note 9 another year, yawn.
