My favorite image is the one around 7:50 (B&W, and with 100 mm a telephoto shot too). It has some "other-worldly" quality (I can't express it more precisely, not a native speaker). Love it! Not that the other shots weren't good (some really nice close-ups, too), but this one stands out.

Looks like the new camera has more detail than the twice as big sensor on the Pentax.

Great video. The photos are all wonderful. I especially liked the canopy shots and the fern shot. Do you see any issues when shooting at f11? I have read that there can be issues shooting from f11 on in the micro 4/3 system.

Good to you again with a thoughtful vlog. Ian, have you tried the 'Post Focus' in the G9 as against post focus stacking in Photoshop? I'm just coming to grips with it. Much food for thought in your vlog when visiting our national parks. Thanks as always.
