8:50 I think that is a great technique, if you want to paint something, that is in the distance.

I am 36 and this is the first time I've felt like I could work beautifully with watercolors! Thank you so much for posting this. I'm definitely subscribing!

Going from light to dark. Anybody who colors with inks already knows this is a must.
I don't use it as much with paint since it's a bit more forgivable. Paint can be lightened (to a point) but ink it set once it's put.
I'm going to try some of these with my inks.
Still getting used to using all coloring mediums. From simple crayola crayons, fine wax colored pencils, watercolor & acrylic paint, copic marker, ink.
Some of the mixed pieces I've seen are absolutely unbelievable.
Thanks for the tips! The experiment continues!

You just made me fall in love with watercolours again! 😍 Thank you. Also, knowing you’re a self taught artist is really wonderful. Thank you for this video xxx

hi, as a beginner to watercolors, its lovely to get tips from an artist like yourself, loved watching your DEER painting, as that's my favourite wild animal, I have learned so much after just one watch, I will keep practicing, thank you.

I loved this video so much! Most people when they make videos like this, just say “stop doing that, that is ugly. Instead do this, it is much prettier” without explaining shit. You did really explain, and it was very helpful. Thank you!

All of these are incredibly useful for in my art and junk journals. I mix lovely watercolour paper with scrapbook papers and upcycle book pages and paint on all of them. I need all of this advice....and from the look of it some new brushes too! Thanks Kirsty❣️ joie 🌿😀

Okay, but to be all honest here, that last "don't" 5:05 with all the green actually looks pretty cool. It's like you're looking down at a jungle.😁😊
Thank you for the tutorial by the way, your art is absolutely beautiful!💖😆💖
