System 8000 from Micro-Measurements is a versatile, precision data acquisition instrument system intended for static and dynamic test and measurement applications.
FEATURES
• Eight software-selectable input channels
• Up to 16 scanners can be used concurrently
• Supported inputs include: ❍ Strain gage (quarter-, half-, and full-bridges)
❍ Strain-gage-based transducer ❍ High-level voltage signal ❍ Thermocouples

Great video showing how easy and versatile our System 8000 is to use. Strain Smart software is easy to use but also has a lot of versatility. Combined with a small 8 channel System 8000 that can measure strain gages, thermocouples, and high level signals with just a software selection makes for a really useful DAQ for around $4K. You can even combine up to 16 System 8000's together to give you 128 channels.
