I prefer Asian women in general, but I've only ever dated one Chinese. Xiumei. When I met her, she was amazing. Absolutely adorable, everything about her was really nice! But then about 2 weeks after we started dating, she told me she wanted to introduce me to her mother and start planning the wedding. I never dated another Chinese after that. I've dated women from all over Asia, and settled with the perfect one, and she's a Filipina.

I am very adaptable. And frankly, I have always found the Chinese culture fascinating. I wouldn’t have a problem adapting to most of it all. Love your videos. Keep them coming!

"Probably not COVID!" 🤣 On point as usual. This was very enlightening. Growing up in West Africa, the warm drinks one was done there as well, but I don't recall that it was done to the exclusion of consuming anything cold. We also ate every part of the animal. Very educational, Jo! 👌🏽

LOL - "Weird foods" - all of those foods were once popular in European cultures (except perhaps chicken and duck feet), but not common in the US now. I think it is partially due to FDA restrictions on what slaughterhouses can process. I say this because I asked at our local butcher's (where they also killed the cattle and pigs) whether I could get tripe and was told that they weren't certified to sell organ meat. Fascinating video, Ms. Jo.

Yesterday I went to see "Shen Yun" performance in London Apollo in Hammersmith ( They're touring until 22'nd of April).
Amazing and beautiful experience of Traditional Chinese dance/ music and instruments and orchestra.
I love Chinese cuisine too, especially beef black been sauce.
I'm planning on to get in touch with a Chinese medicine doctor again as I have been battling thyroid condition, I had seen him once and he straight away told me what the problem is, and in fact my Endocrinologist never did and the pills I have been on for three years have done so little.
Exploring other cultures is highly educational.
Keep your channel growing.

So many of these things are common in African American community in Southern US. So much of this is my own family, namely my parents. What an interesting set of coincidental overlaps.

If you read an American magazine called Consumer Reports, a consumer testing center that covers many issues, it states we should wash our underwear separately, with an extra rinse cycle and dry hot. We should all be doing what Chinese girlfriends do!

Now I know why my wife washes her undergarments separately from our other laundry! Thank you for sharing this information! I really like your channel!

nice to see you again. while very distinctive to Chinese girls, my Scottish wife brought many of her own cultural differences that got my attention immediately. try haggis or black pudding...no thanks to this day. old joke about habits among older generations. new husband asks why wife cuts the end of the ham before cooking. Wife says, that's the way my mom did it.. they ask mom why and get the same answer. finally, they ask the grandmother...she looks up and says...it won't fit in the pan if you don't. so, even with good scientific ideas, things do change. lol. take care

My gf is Chinese-Canadian and I recognize some of these things. She loves to eat the fat on meat, skin, chewing the bones etc. I don't like to eat those parts so it works fine for us. She also had to wait a few months after the lunar new year to get a haircut as she doesn't want to lose her luck. Ironically, she doesn't like the taste of green tea but I love it.

The laundry thing was probably partly true in a time before washing machines. Nothings surviving a hot wash in a washing machine.
I would also eat anything from an animal as I'm Scottish and have a culture of eating organ meat but i draw the line at chicken feet.
