For the cheap temu frog. Boil it to soften the plastic, bend out the hooks to increase hookups, use straight braid and a palomar knot, trim down the skirt a bit, and wait 1-3 seconds before setting the hook after you get a bite

To me it makes more sense to buy multiple cheap temu lures than a really nice single lure. Considering the changes at losing them. Especially if the lures work similarly.

I like to use plyers and slightly bend the hood upward to increase the hook up ratio

Something's are just things you don't need high quality so for me some hooks, jigheads and some simple lures temu works perfectly for. I will probs lose the lure anyways.

Frogs are something in the middle for me seeing how it's simple but effective temu works but at the same time it's almost impossible to lose/snag a frog lure so I don't minde spending some money on it If the quality is there
