I’ve noticed with lossless if someone is singing whilst there is heavy bass playing the voice isn’t as drowned by the bass

I have to agree. Apple Lossless is amazing. I finally set my iPhone up for lossless streaming, plugged in my newly purchased Luxury & Precision W2 DAC/AMP as well as my Kinera Nanna IEMs and was blown away by the quality of Apple's Lossless music files streamed over wifi at home. I heard details in the music I'd never heard before, the bass was tight, mids and vocals phenomenal and treble extended, but not sibilant. My new go-to set-up if I'm not using one of my DAPs.

almost brought Apple Music to see if lossless and spatial audio was worth it for AirPods Pro 2 luckily u informed me that lossless is not supported on these

I can’t tell the difference between lossless and Spotify mp3 320 kbps with my XM3 wired through the Apple dongle. I’m sticking with Spotify. Besides I might not be the target for this. I listen to music on the commute, in the gym and at home. Not much of an audiophile. Nevertheless, a great thing to have at no extra cost for many!

The laggyness of Apple Music app on macbook is keeping me to stay with Spotify. Anyway, love the lossless experience, been listening with apple’s lighting to 3.5 + ATH50 / Sony WH1000 XM4

I’m loving lossless so far along with hi res lossless which is just amazing. I even bought in ear monitors wired buds along with a type c dac. Even at budget of being 110 the sound has been amazing. I got the mood drop starlight. I just can’t wait until apple removes lighting and switch’s to type c because I can only listen to lossless on my iPad. I refuse to buy another dac for my phone, when all my devices are type c other then the AirPods max and back up iPhone which I wireless charge because that’s how much I don’t want lighting port 😅.

Why don’t you just plug the Lightning to type c cable to the dac instead of going with the adapter?

The real test is where you have three separate tracks where only one of them is different (whether that one track is of lower or higher quality is randomized and double blinded) and then have the listener tell you to label the tracks. A lot more listeners fail this test, which is telling.

Hello. I hope this comments get noticed lol. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I have been using iPhones with the poor earpods for quite a long time.
However, they don’t sell FH3 in my country.
There are only the FH5 and FH7.
Which one would you recommend for the better sound output from those two?
This will be a long term investment, by the way.
I am not a bass-head but I do love hearing or “feel” the bass because the crappy earpods produce none at all haha.
