I saw a behind-the-scenes somewhere about this scene. Apparently they took the bike apart with welding equipment and welded it back together around the pole; but the really impressive thing is they undid existing weld points to make it practically invisible, and repainted the affected areas the same color as it was before. All for this little gag. I love it.

Reno 911 had SO many fantastic moments, but this one has got to be my favorite. Thomas Lennon played this role with so much subtlety. Everyone on the show was amazing.
