For anyone reading this and is scared to do their taxes, rest assured that the IRS doesn't have nearly enough funding to bother sending someone to your home because you were a couple hundred dollars off. They'll just send you another letter and ask for the rest. If you file early through the irs they'll just reject the letter outright and state exactly what you filled wrong so you can refill it.

For anyone really young here that’s afraid of doing their taxes:

1. You do not make enough to owe the government a lot of money. Your taxes won’t be enough for the IRS to jump on you if you’re off. They’ll send you a letter telling you how much you were off by.

2. Tax forms tell you how to fill them out, and there are countless guides that can help you cut through the language used. Be diligent and go line by line, don’t skim over anything.

3. Anyone who has been doing taxes for a while can tell you: it is incredibly boring. That’s the worst of it, it’s just boring and time consuming. If you can get through that then you’re all good.

We actually could have a much easier time with taxes, but thanks to tax companies like H&R Block and Turbotax lobbying the government for like ever. Nah. You're stuck with an annual headache and frustration. All cause some rich dudes want more money.

Then I stopped working for Walmart and got a job with security.
My last few tax returns had the government paying me 3-5 grand.

Moral of the story.
Don't work for Walmart.

As someone who lives in the UK, it still baffles me that tax isn't automatically calculated for you when they know how much you need to pay. It just automatically comes out of our account every payday.
