Il Teatro Cittadino di Noicàttaro è il teatro all’italiana più piccolo d’Europa e fu costruito nel 1869 sulla preesistente struttura di un frantoio del Settecento. Dopo un lungo periodo di inattività è stato restaurato magistralmente dall’Architetto Sylos Labini nel 2021.

Il suono della chitarra classica ben si presta all’intimità dell’ambiente e alla sua acustica calda e coinvolgente. Questo progetto nasce infatti dal bisogno di valorizzare artisticamente e culturalmente questo teatro affinché la musica diventi protagonista della storia di questo autentico gioiello.

The City Theater of Noicàttaro is the smallest Italian-style theater in Europe and was built in 1869 on the pre-existing structure of an 18th-century oil mill. After a long period of inactivity, it was masterfully restored by Architect Sylos Labini in 2021.

The sound of the classical guitar is well-suited to the intimacy of the space and its warm, engaging acoustics. This project was born from the need to artistically and culturally enhance this theater so that music can become the protagonist in the story of this authentic gem.
