They weren't karens, they were making sure the store knew that you guys dined an dashed. Just because you actually paid, doesn't mean that they knew that. They acted as if you didn't pay. We cant call every woman who talks to staff about anything related to another customer a Karen. Context matters. In this case, you were wrongfully calling them karens. They acted accordingly and I would hope ppl would act like this when they see others dine and dash.
