2018 Ford Fusion | CarGurus Test Drive Review

Показать описание

Ford’s 2018 Fusion makes a range of powertrains available to one of the best midsize sedans in the segment despite not having been redesigned since 2013. The Fusion fits hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and genuinely sporty versions into a single model lineup at prices ranging from a low of just over $22K to a high of under $44K. Those are reasonable for a car that provides a solid driving experience, supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and offers driver-assistance and collision-avoidance technology.

I just bought a 2018 Sport trim. So much fun to drive and nice to drive. It’s a fast car while still remaining comfortable and practical.

I just took delivery of my new 2018 SE 1.5L turbocharged EcoBoost Fusion this week and I love it. I really don’t understand all the hate in the comments but hey, that’s your opinion and I’ll respect that. I got mine because the idea of having a safer and bigger vehicle for my newborn is what counts for me at the end of the day. I will agree, the safety anchors are pretty difficult to access but I’ll look past that. The car has a nice note during acceleration and let’s not forget, with all the windows up and sunroof closed, this car does an OUTSTANDING job canceling any outside noise making for an even better experience.

I just picked up a leftover 2017 sport with 27 miles on the odometer. The msrp was stickered at 35600. The ford dealer had it listed at 25500. It was a brand new car I can't be happier for the price it was a steal.

I own a 2018 fusion titanium awd. Love the 2.0t great car sticks to the road. I’m a parts guy at a ford dealer and the 1.5, 1.6 motors have coolant consumption/head gasket issues, same issue in the escapes with the same motors. Also the 2.7 has a plastic oil pan see a lot of leakers most need to be replaced and resealed by 40k. If you have a 2.7 on any ford they recommend waiting 15 minutes to check your oil because it takes that long for all of it to get back to the pan. Ford replaces the motors when the have have oil pressure issues. In the fusion sports, edge sports, F-150. The 2.0 is a very solid motor. Got mine used CPO 9, 000 miles 18k.

Chris does a good job of pointing out important details about the 2018 Fusion Sport... details that you may otherwise overlook. Thanks Chris...

Purchased the 2013 Fusion when it first came out and 2 years later purchased a Cadillac CTS Coupe. The Fusion is a much better ride. I ending up selling my CTS Coupe and regret wasting money on it. It was a beautiful car and I received lots of compliments on it, but I always told people it wasn't a good ride. The CTS was twice the price too. Just because something is more expensive doesn't make it better.

Great honest, upfront review. I own a 2015 2015 Fusion Titanium. My 2.0 4cyl has great go power, but it's got 18mpg combined. The best all freeway was 25mpg, but I still love overall driving experience over my 30 years and 3 Toyota Camry owner drives.

I got a used 2017 fusion platinum for $26000 with only 17262 miles. Just wait a year resale value drops and save thousands.

Ford should make the Wagon 'order only' in the US.

6:54 I think you want to look at that trunk lid again. My 2017 Fusion SE has a hand recess on the left side. not sure why they would take it away in later versions.

I have the Platinum. 2017. Love it. Am concerned about the number of dead battery complaints due to a draw after the car shuts off. Glad I took the Ford extended warranty.
