The blockchain revolution is unstoppable. There are various approaches that try to resolve the so called blockchain trilemma which is: "Speed, Security, Decentralization - Pick 2". Hedera is not built on a traditional blockchain layer, rather a DAG architecture. Instead of bundling transactions in blocks that usually have limitations in regards to data storage and block-time which leads to slower transaction throughput at higher cost, Hedera has tackled this issue differently. Dr. Leemon Baird, the founder and inventor of Hedera's 'Hashgraph' architecture, developed a secure data layer that allows near instant transaction throughput at very low cost without having to sacrifice performance or decentralisation.

This video is not a technical deep-dive, rather a compact overview of what Hedera is all about, the tokenomics and economic side of things, the infamous Hedera Governing Council as well as my personal evaluation of the project.

Similar to GRT which I introduced in my last video, I believe that HBAR can easily become a top 20, maybe even a top 10 cryptocurrency in terms of market capitalisation.

Personally, I am very much convinced that $HBAR provides an incredible Risk/Reward ratio, probably the best one I'm seeing within the Top 100.

9:20 For clarification, the technology is no longer claiming it can do those numbers, it actually can. Main net has been stressed test live (real cost trx) and was able to put out those numbers without issues.

Good overview. Worth emphasising most of the coins are in treasury and are proxy-staked to the council nodes (it's a Proof-of-Stake consensus system). The governing council members cannot keep the coins proxy-staked to their node. They will eventually all be released to the market over a 15-20 year period.

I attended Hedera18. I don't get how so few understand Hedera and hbar.

There are so many best in industry, world class features but there seems to be a psychological block by most crypto enthusiasts. It doesn't fit their mental paradigm.

Govts are coming after crypto and Hedera is the only project I'm aware of that worked with the SEC to make sure the hbar wouldn't be a security. It meant that they couldn't use the ICO funding route but it also means they may be one of the only coins the govt won't declare illegal and come after exchanges and traders.

We know people follow liquidity and hype .
Can you imagine company ( main use case is tax avoidance, money laundering, online sales, bribes ) need to wash it out their crypto with clean retail money to cash out are set new token running on Hashgraph ? I doubt it . That’s why they are paying fees on permission less Eth .
Will other use cases utilize their tech, yes for sure . Much much later when it’s established and easy to be utilized for normal people which works in companies on ordinary wages .

I saw lot reviews here about hbar, but all are claiming that the web advertisement given in hedera is having much potential even if it is true, as a beginner for me it's not up to the mark, bcoz nothing practical here I see to believe, this is not in csse of hbar, but all altcoin cases I saw the same, can anyone convince me with your views, how u took a positive or negative stand on all coins.can u educate me .
