There have been countless UFO cases and reports over the centuries, but one area of potential extraterrestrial phenomena that doesn't seem to get as much attention is that of strange things beneath the waters of our world. USOs, which is an acronym for "Unidentified Submerged Objects," are basically UFOs that can enter and exit bodies of waters such as oceans and lakes. While these phenomena aren’t as well known to the public as UFOs, USOs have a well-documented history that goes back much further that you may realize.

This list of USO reports and potential bases is but a sample of the hundreds if not thousands of encounters that have been reported. For the sake of brevity, the Archive compiled a list that represents some of the better-known encounters.

My mother and I were sitting on the beach, it was 1969-1970, and we saw "something" come out ot the water and go right above us. It was no higher than 50 feet. No sound at all. But, as it passed over us the air around us felt muffled, thick. There is a USAF base about 50 miles north of where we were. My mom immediately called them and they told her there were no planes in that area.

One night in the summer of 1998 I was camping and night fishing for crappie on the shore of Cave Run Lake in Eastern Kentucky. There was a full moon that night and I saw what I thought was a shad bate ball frothing the top of the water at about 150 yards distance. Suddenly, a light appeared over the froth that resembled an incandescent ultraviolet light bulb, but way too large, illuminated the entire area then shot straight up out of sight. I have no idea what I saw. I never went back there at night. It felt "wrong", for lack of a better word.

Why does everyone keep using the word "alien" implying that they come from some other planet? They were probably here long before humans, happily evolving in the safety of the vast depths of the oceans or inner cavities, while the surface world underwent devastations and restarts. Likely Humans were created by them just recently as a kind of dumbed down surface worker. This ain't our planet folks, we just dig up the gold and good stuff for them. Great video, thank you!

As an aircrew member I was told more than once to ignore airborne objects unless they may interfere with our mission. In 8 years I only keyed the mic once to let the pilot know we had a bogey at three approx a mile out. The pilot replied, "copy that", and that was the end of that.

Great Presentation! I saw one when I was a kid in NYC during a black out in the 70's and when I lived in Puerto Rico in the early 80's, it was not unusual to see odd lights flying around the ocean, especially when the military was bombing training in Vieques, we just figured it had something to do with the military, back then Roosevelt Roads Navy Base was still operating so that made more sense than Aliens. Besides we had the chupa cabra to deal with so why look for more trouble LOL
