While traveling in the Netherlands, I talked my dear friend and lifelong travel companion, Kerry, into climbing into one of these enormous Dutch wooden shoes, in front of a tourist kitsch shop in Delft.
"Come on, just for a photo op!"
He really wanted out of that shoe, as Denise and I snapped a photo and video, or two. And, his discomfort might not have been amusing if he hadn't announced his departure.
