Awesome! Im trying to take a solar panel that connects to a water fountain and turn it into power. Reason being is because we dont get much sun in our backyard for the solar panel, so I want to make it plug in. I have solar garden gnomes that I just converted into power so now I want to do the same with my fountain. How would you suggest I start to do that

I know my outdoor ones will start to get a bit useless in winter, so I will bypass the battery in the solar panel with a long butchered USB wire and attach it that way with the wire passing through the main wall with some caulking as a sealant. Bypassing the battery through the solar panel that way means I still get the auto on and off switch at night, or I can turn them on earlier by covering the sensor. In summer I can either leave it all set up like that or just go back to the battery with more sun, brighter days and less night. A USB powered one like that will work just fine on outdoor solar string lights close to the house.

As for indoor string lights, I already removed and bypassed the batteries for those with USB charging plugs instead. I got sick of changing the batteries. I use 5 volt, 2 amp USB plugs for them, two sockets in each for two sets.

I have a led light string my dad bought for us, but it's also solar and in here, it's really hard to catch sun light so i want to do this too

Why would you not put solar outside and put a switch between the output of the battery and of course bypass the night time or motion sensor and then the solar can charge the battery and you can contol the lights with switch and not use 110volts! You could even leave motion sensor in and lights would come on when you walk to hall if you put sensor there!
