The emphasis in my previous comment was the word "still." During YFW, yes, they were very much related, both regarding their musical integrity and involvement within the industry. Now, however, Brand New hangs around the likes of Manchester Orchestra and Kevin Devine, covering Neutral Milk Hotel and Modest Mouse. They're on a completely different playing field than TBS. There is no longer any correlation. It's almost like talking about Sufjan Stevens and Bruno Mars as if they were buddies.

My fav from that line of covers was (and forgive me, I forget which number it was...) was the one with the quote: "Under 100, 000, 000 (I think that was the amount) Tons Stands The Hulk... and he is not happy..."
and it had a pic of all the heroes under a mountain.... except the Hulk was VERY angry and somehow holding it up!
