Isaac newton is a complete man.
He's a scientist, theologian creating his own theology and also an occult(alchemist) and made progress and contribution in all of them so overall I chose newton it's just an opinion.

Pretty sure Newton is smarter, or atleast more important.

Newton created the LAWS OF PHYSICS, almost every single thing in your room may have not been made if it wasn’t for Newton being able to define and dissect these fundamentals. For example we could have never calculated how we could go to space if it wasn’t for his work. Also for extras, issac also invented the theories for light, colour, calculus, forces and more.

Tesla produced the alternating current which is used around the world, and also is credited with the invention of the radio. He also has 100s of other patents and some of his work is still being studied today. So yeah, really important.

Now tesla was definitely important don’t get me wrong, and he is certainly smarter than me by a long shot obviously. But the mans field of study was primarily focused in electricity, which as important as that is, definitely isn’t as fundamentally more impactful to science as calculus and physics. Hell electricity probably wouldn’t be as advanced as it is today if it wasn’t for newton.

In the end, although I think Newton was “technically” better. I believe comparing people in the field of science is just kind of stupid, science isn’t a competition, its the ever growing knowledge that we as people have and everyone who contributes to should be celebrated (atleast for their work).
