Hamamatsu Flower Park
Показать описание
A botanical park called Hamamatsu Flower Park is located near Lake Hamana. There are 3,000 distinct varieties of plants in the about 30,000 square meter park. All year long, you can take in the seasonal foliage and flowers here. The middle of February sees the emergence of the red, white, and pink plum flowers, which are visible in mid-March. Additionally, the park's vegetation starts to sprout in February, and in early April, all of the tulips bloom in a dazzling array of hues. A well-known location for Hamamatsu City cherry blossom viewing events is beneath the park's cherry trees. Cherry blossoms are lovely when they bloom under a clear blue sky, but they also have a certain elegance when they are lit up at night.
The park is decked up for Christmas in December. Throughout the month, there are concerts, beautiful illuminations, a Christmas tree, and other holiday activities. In the New Year, January brings rapeseed blossoms and daffodils, with plum flowers starting to bloom in February. And then spring arrives once more.
In the middle of the park is a gigantic greenhouse known as the "Crystal Palace" that houses indoor displays. The patio area is the first thing you see as you enter; huge flowers are blossoming there to greet you. You'll reach the Garden Theater as you move farther inside, where there are ornate exhibits that alter according to the season. Every half hour, on the hour, and every thirty minutes, there's a spectacle at the big fountain in front of the Crystal Palace where the water almost seems to dance to music. You can see the display in the light of night if you go to the park at that time.
