I never decorated for Easter until I lived in Europe. Now I am so happy to find beautiful things, both traditional and modern, here in Australia.

Everything is gorgeous, as always. But seeing pinecones used in an Easter arrangement looks odd to a northern hemisphere eye. Those represent autumn and especially winter for us. But of course, our apple blossoms and tulips that surround Easter are not an Australian Easter. I remember the April Easter I spent in Adelaide, and the weather was sunny and mild, which was perfectly Eastery. And I don't remember it feeling autumnal. Hmmm. You have me thinking! (And sometimes Easter here is dastardly! Indoor egg hunts. Hmmppff)
