Yesterday, I bought the Crochet Now magazine and lo and behold, your beautiful blanket was in it, yay! I was so impressed, you are starting to be a celebrity 😎
I really love the Crystal blanket you received back, so comfy and gorgeous....I’m loving your new Shawl, I can’t wait to see it finished. I have revised my Christmas list, I’m going big, thank you for the inspiration. 1. I wish I was 30 years younger, then I would be 31 and I could learn to crochet a lot sooner in life and I would have had one more child, I have 3 girls and only one grandchild.
2. I want to live up in the mountains, in a cozy 3 bedroom cabin, huge fireplace and wrap around porch. 3. I want to visit England and Scotland! Ok, that’ll do it🙄

hi Rosina! I make things all year round and if not explicitly for me, I just put them in a drawer and sort out gifts around the holiday. I will make for a specific person sometimes or in the case of making for a man in man colors. i did think people might not appreciate that I didn't make just for them but I thought that might be hard for me to enjoy all the year's knitting and crocheting . So I decided not to be guilty about it and just make away.I really enjoy your blog. Hope you're having fun getting ready for the holidays.

Rosina I'm catching up on old episodes so this won't be relevant for the blanket in this episode but for future blankets, there is a fantastic group on Facebook called Hookers and Clickers (do it for charity) and they crochet and knit for different charities and they would greatly accept blankets and other crocheted items.

I like the yellow in your shawl as it really isn't that bright and makes your bands of color stand out. I t really looks fresh and will be great for spring.

Another fab podcast! They always make me smile! Cannot beat a granny square! My all time favourite thing to crochet.
I think in terms of present giving - is it not like naming your child? Sometimes you know well in advance the name that you want but sometimes you have to see the 'finished object' in order to name him or her? Not the best analogy but hand made gifts are always lovely to receive in my opinion.

for the profiterole I advise you to use your travel tokes and eat them in France!! No patisserie are better than French one! It is one of the thing I miss most from France, Sunday treat :)
i really like the scarf. Are you sure you can't crochet on crochet? it would look as 1 piece :)
