the greatest Jazz guitarist ever IMO, sounding so cool as always! pure gold that I never tire of listening to. The earlier traditional jazz, the pop stuff, I don''t care . . .it's all fabulous!

To be truthful, the SOUL that was expressed in Wes's skill and ability which produced a SOUND that's not out there today. Who's the best now? I would have to say --- WES. Through his SPIRIT --- we can enjoy an unbelievable talent that is still unprecedented.

This takes me way back to my teens when my parents would play this on the 8 track! I used to be able to run the machine and I would keep "programing" in back until this song came up again. At 13 I loved this song and it today take me WAY BACK to my youth. Fond memories and what a major talent Wes was. I searching youtube to see if I could find him performing this live but to no avail so far.. Thanks Wes for the memories and when this song comes up on my mp3's in the car I just can't help; but hit

O som imortal da guitarra jazz de Wes com essa magnífica interpretação criou uma atmosfera única nesse clássico, para mim essa é de longe a melhor versão de shadow of your smile🙂

My favorite version. I like it without lyrics. My strong runner up is Sarah Vaughn's live

a sound so fragile and a little off from the orchestra but still just cleverly different. perfect and odd all in one.
it paints an image . as if the guitarists walking a slack rope. swinging above the tune and the drum rhythm .
