I am travelling on the Cathcart Circle for the first time on a Class 380. Unfortunately the Class 314 is scrapped, but we get to travel the WHOLE loop!

Glasgow Central is hands down the best termini in the UK. It has kept it's traditional buidings within the station too. Although you don't here the unique three tone PA system anymore.

Glasgow is so well served for trains, it's just a shame with any new development there's not the same need to create a station. Pollokshields West was my train stop getting back from school as it was about 2 mins walk to home. I'm that old, in my 50s, that I remember the old ticket stations, the station master, and at that point it was the old fashioned tickets too.
