My entire bag was built on new clubs purchased 2 years after their initial launch. Saved 50% 💰

Tried the new Ping driver and it is no better than my G30. I'm a 2 handicap golfer, and the only good thing I can say about the 440 is that the head cover looks cool.

I had a fitting 2 weeks ago for the new Ping 440 Driver, I had to decline the new purchase because my old Ping G10 gave me more distance, better dispersion and a faster ball speed ! The fitter was just shaking his head as I walked away with my G10 still in hand ! Love your videos Simon, keep the good work up mate, 👍👍👍

I found an SR flex graphite design shaft at a yard sale for $25. I won’t lie—the color more than the brand caught my eye. I added it to my TSi1 12-degree driver (also pre-owned with an OEM L flex shaft) after taking it to a fitter who adjusted the loft and lie angle for free, and now the ball launches higher and stays in the fairway. I’m all in on second-hand; even my golf bag is second-hand; it was used to store demo clubs. I replaced the ball pocket placard with one that matched the colors, and my Ping bag looks brand new. I love your content. Can you do a video on putters?

Maybe 6 months ago I replaced the driver in my set with a used Cobra Darkspeed X. I was able to get it from 2nd Swing on sale for $250 US. After trade in of my set driver, the cost was under $200. It was in like new condition so that deal was too good to pass up. It has made a huge difference in my game off the tee! My misses are much narrower, and my fairways hit are consistently increasing. Now to work on the short

Used Cobras are the best value in the market. No doubt. If you want a new one you can usually buy the prior year model new for 299-350 and big box stores will fit you for it. The current sales on Mizuno are awesome as well

Loving my St Max, it last year and hands down the best driver I've ever played in 20yrs of golfing. Very forgiving and plenty distance too. I popped a Tensei 1K Blue 55s shaft in and it's just a straight line monster. You will love it if you get one in the specs you want 😀👌🏻

Simon, would love your thoughts. First, I’m an old man, so, there’s that. I’m a “regular” flex guy, but lean to the “regular firm” category. That’s not the issue. The issue is the weight. I’ve been hitting the lightest shaft I could reasonably afford (ProLaunch blue 45g) for a couple of years. The idea is to improve my swing speed. I picked up a friend’s old “heavy-stiff” driver and hit it longer and straighter than with my own super light driver. SO, I’ve been fitted for a 65g regular-firm Mizuno driver (Tensi blue) to see if I can replicate the results I got with my buddy’s old Taylormade Burner TP heavy-stiff driver. The “advantage” is the ability to swing it more aggressively without losing control. The disadvantage is that I will lose a couple of MPH of swing speed. I hope I’m not making a mistake. What’d you think?

I've only just changed my ping G15 driver only last year. So what does that say.

I think as long as you always buy second hand and search around for a bit you can probably sell for the exact same price or a bit lower dependent on how long you use it (and no sky marks Ofcourse)

I just bought a DS Adapt MaxK because I love the adjustability that the club offers. I had the Aerojet before this (that I bought brand new in August/Sept of 24 for $250) but this MaxK is amazing for me. Still getting massive distance numbers, but with much tighter dispersion

Picked up a 269 EUR ST-X ex demo in pristine condition (could not detect whether anyone actually had hit it) last November to replace 10 yr old Callaway with same weight shaft. Shorter 45'' shaft agrees with me very well, and I would imagine with many other mid handicappers too.

I’ve been gaming the gen 5. And can not fault it. £130 and you can play with the weights, to make it a bit more forgiving as well! Can not beat it for the price.

How about a video about your swing changes and the difference between being a young athletic stud like yourself and an old fat slob, like me, and how that affects things?
Cheers 🍻
