Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to another edition of the Android News Byte.

#android #sudachi #emulator

I know Nintendo is still going after Switch emulators, so today I want to highlight one of the remaining options for Android.
It's called Sudachi and I'll be sure to include a link to this page down in the video description below.

Sudachi Update Changes
The latest version brings the emulator up to 1.0.11 and with it comes a handful of useful changes.

You can see, the Android version of Sudachi has removed telemetry, it has removed links to a now-malicious domain, and it fixes a bug where some games refused to launch from QLaunch.

The update changes the main on-screen button colors and it has also added the beginnings of the Echoes of Wisdom audio fix.
Which is a reimplementation of the code from Ryujinx's audio changes.

The Linux and Windows versions received a few more changes, and you can download these from the website as well.
And I'll be sure to include this link in the pinned comment so that it's easy for everyone to find.

what is Sudachi
Sudachi is cross-platform, so it's available on Android, Linux, and Windows.
The project started as a Switch emulator for iOS that was built on top of Yuzu

But since Nintendo started aggressively going after emulators, they've branched out to multiple platforms.
It's currently being spearheaded by Jarrod Norwell, a software developer from Western Australia who specializes in reverse engineering.

They claim to have removed all of the iffy bits, which they hope to keep it in the clear from being targetted by Nintendo.
So let's hope their work is able to continue.

Let me know if you've had a chance to try out this emulator on Android, as I've only had a chance to test out a few games so far.
And please, remember to like this video while also subscribing to the channel for more Android News content like this.

I had to switch back to version 1.0.10 for the time being as for some reason several of my games would crash on the new version 1.0.11 upon loading. Super Mario Wonder & Super Mario Odyseyy crashes at title screen, & TOTK crashes upon loading any save. The previous version worked fine other than Stopping a game crashing the emulator, but i noticed that it does not crash the emulator when closing games from QLaunch menu instead. All that said Im impressed with it so far and the QLaunch menu is my favorite part (probably also a big reason for the bugs for now). That said, I am excited for the future of the project 👏

I'm playing Mario & Luigi Brothership with solid frame rates but why does my screen turn green after the start menu? I can still move my character and hear the music and sounds, but my screen turns green, would greatly appreciate any helpful tips on how to fix please

Definitely the one to watch in a sea of mediocre yuzu clones. Torzu is another to keep a close eye on.
