I just realized . . . Every time you replay this song, you're replaying this fight scene. Sans will fight and fight until being killed, which he surprisingly doesn't know he will be. This is the one timeline he doesn't know he's reliving. Frisk will always be under control of Chara, regretting her decisions until finally going completely under Chara's control. And then it ends with her killing the timeline is reset by Frisk (you), who knows how long she's been in here fighting. Hoping she can somehow change the story but unable to.
