Love the textured idea, makes it look really rustic and authentic, really enjoying your videos so far and learning a heap of good ideas to use in my shop.

Very good advice about working in volume. "A little risk" goes a long way.

Really liking this series, I just finished a fire poker from part one. I decided to put my own spin on the project and used 7 rods to make the basket instead of 4; the result was a pretty cool basket twist.

Trenton you can do the same thing as the table idea by putting an anvil block in your hardy.

Trenton you are doing awesome with this series of videos! I look forward to these! I love the way it’s shot, love the way you teach, explain and show how to do the tasks. These are easily some of the best informative/entertaining forging videos I’ve seen in a long while!

Nicely done! I'm about ready to make one for myself.

Love the wall mounted hook rack. The working of all the surfaces really does make all the difference in aesthetics. It looks more mid-evil than just a bunch of smooth surfaces rivoted together, for sure. Great job.

Now, how do you attach it to the brick or stone fireplace?

1st just the tip, then swelling around the hole... something satisfying about watching metal getting hammered. Did you Quelch any of those pieces? nice work and thank you

So, you shouldn't have too many irons in the fire, but you should also not have too few.

Are you sure we're still taking about blacksmithing?

Ooh, I'm looking forward to this one! I also have disdain for the free standing tool racks, nothing's more frustrating to tippy tools!

You professionally do the blacksmith work, explain what you are doing, why, and adding your own helpful tips for quality and sequencing (drill the holes while it is flat) tips from experience. Thank you. You do a wonderful job passing the craft to others. Would you beeswax that for a finish that is less maintenance?

To many irons in the fire was a saying of my Grandfather 's... on the ranch, I always thought he ment branding irons.
Another saying was 'beating cold iron is what broke the blacksmith '.
Something we say often enough... and I say it to you, Well done.
Hi from Alberta, above freezing today but last week hit minus 48 wind chill to minus 55.

I liked it, no, I really did 😎😎. A couple of well placed balloons in the thumbnail might increase views though 😂🤔. Just checking to see if you read the comments 😉
