These are some of the best crappie fishing lures, baits, and jigs from my past experiences. Jigs (marabou and plastics) are my go to for crappie, but often I enjoy using small crankbaits and inline spinners as I often catch bass along with the crappie.

Let me know what your favorite crappie lures are. Always looking for new lures to try.

*Altogether a well made lure **enjoyable.fishing** recommend it’s the skirt seems to stay on well and the whole thing is bigger than I thought it would be. The 2 metal have a nice plating on them as well.*

I am always impressed by the forethought and conciseness of your videos. You have a specified agenda and then you attack that agenda with a polished presentation. No rambling or fumbling for words. You deliver experience based information in small chunks of time. Keep up the great work!

This really helps because I’m a saltwater fisherman but my dad broke his wrist so we can’t go on the boat so now I always go fishing in my friends lake and I want to catch some crappie so thanks man

*Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*

I make my own jigs out of hair from animals that I kill during hunting season deer, squirrel, cottontail rabbit, raccoon or jack rabbit. And the jig that I've had most luck with is made out of Fox squirrel tail hair. And I use a roadrunner jig head. I use it in 2 to 6 feet of water.

At night. Or when the sun falls and it’s twilight on the water. Weightless tubes. So far my favorite color is black and green. Just cast and cast and I’ve hooked some MONSTER crappie and decent crappie non stop

If your on shore or boat and close to cover where you don't need to cast I sometimes use some fly fishing flys and tip them with Berkeley gulp stuff.

Jig spinners work great for crappies, brim, and anything else, for me. I sometimes get crappies on the smaller pin's minnow, from yozuri.

I like the rage tail crappie grub for the summer and spring but the maribou jig in the winter and fall I also like to use rooster tails in the summer and spring that's for panfish in general

Me and my daughter slay them on about an inch an a half to a 2 inch live minnow. Havent found anything else that works any better.

Maraboo jigs are great for dirtier water in a white color so those are my favorite

Try gitzit micro tough guy or little tough guy jigs...been using them for years and they never let me down and they got me my pb crappie that was just over 3lbs and 18 1/2” long

AnglersExcape, Nice video, I found the 2" gulp minnow on a crappie hook to work wonders also. You can see it in action and slamming the Crappies in my videos.
