That was super interesting - thank you! I'm not a dental student, just a person with great interest in oral hygiene. I understood the basic processes of plaque formation, but not the detailed microbiology.

Namaste
Some advantages of salt water mouth rise
1.) Clears mucous membrane
2.) Soothes mouth sores
3.) Helps maintain an alkaline environment (PH >=7) { This also means that we must avoid acidic drinks which drop the PH level below 7)
4.) Helps maintain isotonicity leading to rejuvenation of soft tissues
Thanks

Man you were one of my main lifelines when it came to surviving exams when stuff was little to no info or badly organized in the bibliography last year, or too long and understood little to nothing, now i find this for this following year and its gold, animations are useful❤ thx

Pretty sure it's candida that's enabling the bacteria to persist. Because that's of course the one thing nobody mentions because it could actually work (woe dentists). What seems to be working best is ultra high doses of biotin (100mg-300mg) together with iron chelation (albendazole). But I couldn't sleep the other day had too much energy, despite being active, so have to figure out if I need to lower the dose. Though could just have been eating lots of chocolate which has caffeine.

I've reduced my intake of anything with a lot of sugar and only drink water and I really hope that has completely reduced the calculus on my bottom teeth when I go back to my dentist in February.
