In the Darkhold, there is a prophecy of how a god might die. Jack Russell, more familiar with that cursed tome than most, would like very much to kill a god and save his people, the people bound in servitude to the moon. But to fulfill that prophecy requires the blood of the Fist of Khonshu, and Moon Knight doesn’t bleed easily.

I own the Werewolf by Night issues that were Moonknight's first appearance and I'd hoped for something more than an homage. That Moonknight was as brutal as this current incarnation so it seemed a proper fit. I hoped that there would be some point of remembrance of their first encounter but was disappointed. For all I know those comics aren't considered continuity anymore which seems a loss.
I love the comic. It's my fave Marvel title and has constantly delivered with story and art and this annual is excellent despite my disappointment. Thanks for covering it as it seems less popular than other titles covered here.
