These zinc-rich foods are great for your thyroid: oysters, beef, blue crab, and pumpkin seeds. Ideally, you should aim to get around 5 to 20mg of zinc from all sources each and every day. If you are trying to do that from food alone then you’d need: 1 serving of oysters, 2 servings of beef, 2 servings of crab, or 3 servings of pumpkin seeds. Remember: these serving sizes just gets you into the 5-20mg range but you may want more than what is recommended here. Also, realize that plenty of other foods contain zinc as well, these just contain the highest concentration per serving.
